Kamil Armağan Gül has been working as Innovation Developer at Oyak Renault Turkey in Vehicle Engineering Departemen. He has 10-year experience in product development, engineering materials, material characterization, mechanical behavior and Computer Aided Engineering. Also, He is a PhD student at metallurgy and material engineering department of Istanbul Technical University. He is an inventor for over 10 patents on automotive technology. He is technical responsible for below projects:
- Graphene Doped Injection Grade PP Compound Development” with cooperation of Renault -Farplas – Nanografen – Ravago
- CFMTech - Coreback Chemical Foaming Technology Project with Renault-Repsol – Nanografen- Farplas – AITIIP – KAREL
- “PP based lightweight compound development via microtalk fill” which was funded by Oyak Renault and Turkey Government.
- “Development of Long Natural Fiber PP composite filled and Application on Automotive Interior Trim Parts” which is funded by Oyak Renault and Turkey Government.

Assoc. Prof. Burcu Saner Okan
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burcu Saner Okan received my BS degree in Chemistry at Middle East Technical University (METU), Turkey in 2005. Dr. Saner Okan received MS degree in 2007 and PhD degree in 2011 in Materials Science and Engineering programme at Sabanci University. Now she works as a research and application-oriented faculty member at Sabanci University Integrated Manufacturing Technologies Research and Application Center since 2017. Dr. Saner Okan is also co-founder of NANOGRAFEN Nano Technological Products Company. Nanografen produces large volume of graphene nanoplatelets from waste tire by recycling and upcycling technology by decreasing manufacturing costs. Dr. Saner Okan develops cost-effective and lightweight automotive composites parts reinforced by waste tire-derived Graphene NanoPlatelet with part producers and leading OEM partners. Dr. Saner Okan has an expertise in graphene, polymer nanocomposites, compounding, surface chemistry and electrospinning. She has 36 articles published in international journals, 6 book chapters, 2 patents and more than 50 conference papers in these fields.
